if you are wondering what qualifies me to be doing this and that. stop wondering. NOTHING. nothings says i past the test and got patted on the head with a degree or anything. I went out and scoured the land and learned it all by my own volition. is it flawed, yeah a bit, but i check my facts and practice what i preach so i think what i got is pretty sound. as often stated by most new folks in my life "gawd if you do enough research to fill four note books with just notes then i'd say you know what youre doing" thanks, you're right, it does suggest that i should know what i'm doing, but theres something needed to be said about learning a skill from a master of the trade. you learn the tricks, you learn the hurdles you learn the issues without having to sink neck deep in them.

that said, yes i did a lot of research and studying, i'll be releasing these notes as a book as soon as i can, its not all about music or theory, some of it is about battling creative blocks, or fighting depression, some of it is about sales and marketing, some of its is plain and simply just about how to live in tandem with others and the world. I think it\ll be a good read, keep your eyes out for it.

Ok, so it's been a minute since I put this site up, but I wanted to leave some of the former original content for future referance.

After, a solid year of DJing EVERY weekend in St Louis, I feel like my qualifications are a bit more up to par. During this last year, I had 3 weekends that I did NOT DJ. I also found time to get in the studio, collaborate with local artists, remote work for a long distance buddy, as well as work on videos, this site, got my first business cards and Promo materials, and hopefully soon, I'll be organizing my very own Event.

I've gained a LOT of hands on experience, learned a TON about presentation, getting on a mic, setting up and tearing down sets, coordinating with others, personal accountability, live mixing, two-deck mixing, four deck mixing, live input mixing, remix deck mixing, sample and loop optimization, crowd control, charisma, personal development, and interpersonal relations, among a long list of many other things.

I got to work with amazing talents such as Consiitred, Sparkermae, Wridicule and the Rapture, Fail Inc., J. Hendrix, J. Henslee of the Parmalee productions crew, Q. himself of Q Entertainment and Murphy's Ford, P. Dow of The Golden Band, and many others. It was such a pleasure, honor and privilege to work alongside all of you! As well as my fellow DJ's: Ty, Mateo, D'Vyne, Summer, Kyle G. Jovet, Callen, Moma Teef, and everyone else who was there, I LOVE YOU ALL!!!

Aside from those, I also took a few online classes, so I think that rounds out my creds a lil better! <3
